Jones Day represented The Washington Post as seller and Dr. Sidney Harman as buyer in the successful negotiation of an agreement with the Newspaper Guild regarding the sale of Newsweek to Dr. Harman. Jones Day thereafter represented Harman Newsweek in successfully negotiating a framework agreement with the Newspaper Guild in connection with merger of the Harman Newsweek and The Daily Beast editorial staffs.
