Med-Trans defends against billing dispute

Jones Day successfully represented Med-Trans Corporation, one of the nation's leading air ambulance service providers, in litigation filed in Jefferson County, Texas. The plaintiffs alleged claims for violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, the Texas Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, for breach of contract, and for unjust enrichment in connection with billings for an emergency air rescue performed by Med-Trans. Jones Day successfully resolved the matter and the plaintiffs non-suited all claims.
