Jones Day acted as Dutch corporate counsel to Marfrig Alimentos S.A. in connection with the aggregate Brazil Reais 5.85 billion (US$2.68 billion) sale of its poultry and leather business to JBS S.A. The deal was comprised of two separate transactions that closed in June and September 2013, respectively.
