Andeavor buys Kenai LNG plant in Alaska from ConocoPhillips

Jones Day advised Trans-Foreland Pipeline Company LLC, an affiliate of Andeavor Logistics, LP, in connection with the acquisition of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in Kenai, Alaska, from ConocoPhillips Company for an undisclosed amount. The LNG facility was built in 1969 and is supplied via pipeline from the nearby North Cook Inlet Gas Field. Andeavor operates a crude oil refinery near the LNG plant at Nikiski, on the Kenai Peninsula south of Anchorage. Andeavor Logistics, LP is one of the largest full-service providers of midstream logistics in the western United States, with capabilities in gathering, processing, fractionation, stabilization, storage, terminalling, and transportation for inbound and outbound logistics. Their operations include pipeline, rail, marine, and trucking.
