Angel Group liquidators succeed in claims worth over £10m against former director and sole shareholder

Client(s) Angel Group liquidators

Jones Day acted for the joint liquidators of the Angel Group in respect of claims worth over £10 million for breach of trust and fiduciary duties against Julia Davey (the former director and sole shareholder of the Angel Group). Jones Day had previously obtained freezing orders securing the net proceeds of sale of various assets of the Angel Group in Israel and England, with the monies ordered to be repatriated on judgment. The joint liquidators were successful at trial in the High Court.
