Jones Day acted as legal adviser to BNP Paribas Asset Management in connection with the setting up of a French debt fund with compartments investing into Dutch residential mortgage loans for a maximum amount of €1 billion with the first compartment investing only into residential mortgage loans that are guaranteed by Waarborgfonds Eigen Woningen (NHG Mortgage loans) originated by HollandWoont (a Dutch mortgage loan originating platform) and the second compartment investing only into residential mortgage loans (not considered as NHG Mortgage loans) originated by the Dutch platform Clarian Wonen, both compartments issuing pass-through bonds privately placed.
