Jones Day advised Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and MassMutual International LLC in the sale of MassMutual International's 14.9% interest in Nippon Wealth Life Insurance Company (Nippon Wealth) to Nippon Life Insurance Company. This deal follows Jones Day's representation of MassMutual in the sale of 85.1% of the shares of Nippon Wealth (formerly MassMutual Japan) for approximately $1 billion in 2018.
