Katie Nugent's practice focuses on representing leading financial institutions in complex civil litigation and investigations. Katie's experience spans all stages of litigation, from prelitigation investigations to jury trial and appeals.
Katie has experience litigating and counseling clients in a variety of disputes, including complex breaches of contract, indemnification, data breaches, and cases arising out of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Katie maintains an active pro bono practice and has experience assisting clients in family court, with asylum claims, and assisting children seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile status.
Prior to law school, Katie worked as a patent paralegal, focusing primarily on domestic U.S. patent applications and U.S. National Phase Applications.
