Client(s) French market leader for glass inspection devices

Jones Day represents patentee in a dawn raid against a competitor to inspect competitor's manufacturing facilities. This procedure makes use of the European Enforcement Directive and allows far-reaching measures against suspected patent infringers. As German procedural law does not allow a U.S. type discovery, such "inspection proceedings" are the method of choice in cases where some uncertainty remains whether there actually is a case of patent infringement.
