KeyBank finances wind and solar project located in Kingman, Arizona

Jones Day advised KeyBank National Association in connection with the $30 million project financing provided to Kingman Energy Corp., a subsidiary of Western Wind Energy Corp., for the construction, development, and operation of a combined wind and solar project with a total generating capacity of 10.5 MW located in Kingman, Arizona. This project is believed to be the first utility scale renewable energy project that combines wind and solar under one power purchase agreement. The KeyBank loans are secured by substantially all the real and personal assets of and equity interests in Kingman Energy Corp.
