The Nielsen Company fends off patent infringement action over interactive media application

Client(s) Nielsen Company, The

Jones Day reached a successful settlement for The Nielsen Company, Digimarc Corporation, TVAura Mobile, and The Weather Channel in a patent infringement action brought in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The suit, brought by Walker Digital, alleged infringement by technologies and iPad applications related to synchronization of interactive multimedia content with a broadcast television program.
