Strix settles patent infringement action against TopNet/Ovente

Client(s) Strix Limited

Jones Day represented Strix Limited in patent litigation against TopNet/Ovente accusing the defendant of infringing one or more claims of U.S. Patent No. 5,971,810 ("’810 patent"). Strix filed the action against TopNet/Ovente (a U.S. based supplier of electric kettles) on April 29, 2016, in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Strix and TopNet/Ovente have resolved the litigation through settlement.
