Manufacturer cleared in bribery investigation

Jones Day conducted an independent investigation regarding allegations that employees in a foreign operation of a U.S.-based manufacturer bribed witnesses in court proceedings. Jones Day facilitated disclosure of the matter to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, which declined to take any further action against the company.
