Notre Dame defends lawsuit brought by former student-athlete in Kentucky relating to football concussion injuries

Jones Day is defending the University of Notre Dame in a personal injury lawsuit in Kentucky state court brought by a former football student-athlete. The plaintiff claims that Notre Dame and the NCAA failed to warn him about the risk of long-term brain injuries allegedly caused by playing football and seeks damages for the effects of concussive and sub-concussive hits that he sustained during his football career.
