British Land sells 25.5% stake in 26 Sainsbury's supermarkets for £102 million

Client(s) British Land Company PLC, The

Jones Day represented an affiliate of The British Land Company PLC on its £102 million sale of a 25.5% stake in a UK supermarket portfolio to a 50:50 joint venture between Supermarket Income REIT PLC and British Airways pension fund. The portfolio consisted of 26 Sainsbury's supermarkets based in London and the South East of the UK.
