Jones Day represents PITCO Foods, Inc., a food supply company based in California, during the COVID-19 crisis to consider and assess appropriate protocols and policies to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 among employees, including a testing program for returning and new workers. This work includes counseling on myriad federal, state, and local legal and regulatory frameworks, taking into account government regulations, state labor laws, healthcare laws and considerations and other considerations, drafting proposed protocols and notices, and advising on various potential testing regimens and vendors.
