Jones Day represented a Spanish private equity sponsor in relation to the restructuring of a €250 million facilities agreement advanced to one of its portfolio companies by certain entities advised by a U.S. fund manager. The transaction entailed obtaining a court sanction in relation to a refinancing agreement and complex corporate transactions to allow a U.S. fund manager to become the portfolio company's new majority shareholder.
