Experian successfully resolves multistate Attorney General investigation into Court Ventures data breach

Jones Day represented Experian in an investigation brought by 42 state Attorneys Generals into the alleged unauthorized disclosure of consumer information through Court Ventures. The multistate investigation sought to recover damages for the consumers who allegedly had their information improperly disclosed. After years of negotiations, Experian reached a settlement with all participating state Attorneys General.
