Jones Day advised PBI Media Holdings, an entity controlled by Wasserstein & Co., L.P. through its U.S. Equity Partners II, L.P. investment partnership, in its acquisition of the Business Information unit of PRIMEDIA Inc. for $385 million in cash. The Business Information unit consists of 70 business-to-business targeted publications, more than 100 Web sites, 25 special events, and 50 directories and data products serving professionals in diverse market sectors.
