Nicholas Evans' practice is focused on resolving disputes involving major projects, particularly in the energy and resources sectors.
Nicholas has experience representing domestic and international corporations in litigation, arbitration, and security of payment adjudications. He recently acted for an ASX-listed contractor pursuing claims related to the construction of mining and processing facilities in Queensland and a marine and offshore contractor in relation to disputes in Singapore arising out of distressed ship building contracts impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. He also recently represented an EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contractor in Supreme Court litigation related to a mining project in New South Wales.
