Jean-Gabriel Griboul has 20 years of experience advising clients on private and public M&A, private equity, and equity capital market (ECM) transactions, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions or investments, divestitures and strategic alliances, and corporate law issues.

He is recognized in numerous legal publications, including Chambers Europe that notes "his commercial sense is valued by clients, one dubbing him ‘efficient, precise and pragmatic’."

Jean-Gabriel represents listed and unlisted companies, their managers, as well as the private equity and corporate investors that finance them. He has acted as principal lawyer in a significant number of early to late-stage financing rounds (venture and growth capital; joint ventures), M&A transactions, initial public offerings (IPOs,) rights issues, tender offers, and private placements.

Recent transactions in which Jean-Gabriel has acted as lead lawyer include: M&A: several cross-border build-up acquisitions completed by Doctolib; the acquisition by Taranis Investments (Perenco Group) of the African project portfolio of Akuo Energy Afrique; the acquisition of Bimpli (BPCE) by Swile; and the sale of Linkfluence to Meltwater; private equity: Sanofi's investment in a biotech entity controlled by Orano Med; all financing rounds completed by Swile; Unseenlabs Series C financing round; and ADEME Investissement on the offshore floating wind development company created with BW Ideol; and capital markets: the Nasdaq IPO of Nanobiotix and the ChapsVision tender offer on Coheris.
