Elena Hogh-Binder focuses her practice on investigations and white collar defense, advising national and international organizations on all aspects of compliance matters, including conducting internal investigations, compliance due diligence, and implementing and evaluating compliance programs.

She has assisted in complex internal investigations for international companies pertaining to allegations involving fraud, corruption, breach of trust, and violations of antitrust and competition law, some of which involved coordination with German and with foreign investigative authorities. She has experience in whistleblowing legislation, providing counsel to international clients on the implementation and evaluation of internal whistleblowing policies. In particular, she has assisted global market leaders in assessing compliance of their whistleblowing and investigation processes with local laws in up to five jurisdictions. She advises international organizations in various industry sectors, including automotive, technology and software, chemicals, energy, and consumer goods.

Prior to earning her second state exam, Elena served as a legal trainee at several leading international law firms, where she gained practical experience in the areas of litigation, real estate, and white collar crime, including compliance and investigations.
