Kayla Halkinrude represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including employment discrimination litigation, compliance matters, and traditional labor disputes before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Her experience includes single plaintiff and class action litigation in federal court. Kayla also has experience representing employers in litigation and arbitration under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
While in law school, Kayla worked as an intern for the NLRB. Prior to attending law school, she worked in human resource management.
Kayla maintains an active pro bono practice that includes representing clients seeking asylum, domestic violence appeals, and First Amendment litigation.
