Kendall Runyan represents clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, including securities and shareholder litigation. Her practice focuses on factual investigation, discovery, and motions practice. She has experience representing corporate clients in commercial contract disputes, shareholder derivative actions, False Claims Act litigation, and internal investigations.
Kendall also maintains an active pro bono practice. She has assisted clients in overturning and pardoning criminal convictions in conjunction with the Georgia Innocence Project and the Georgia Justice Project. She has also represented residential tenants in housing disputes in partnership with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
She is coauthor of the article "Diminished criminal responsibility: A multinational comparative review" (International Journal of Law and Psychiatry, Volume 91, November-December 2023), which reviews and compares the legal frameworks of diminished criminal responsibility in 18 civil law jurisdictions across the globe.
