With more than 20 years' experience, Dr. Dieter Strubenhoff litigates and arbitrates on behalf of clients in matters related to corporate and commercial disputes in both national and international fora. Dieter has conducted arbitration proceedings under the rules of various arbitration institutions as well as ad hoc proceedings. He also represents clients in mediations and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Dieter has acted as arbitrator in proceedings under the rules of the ICC, DIS, and VIAC in addition to other arbitration rules, both as chairman and as co-arbitrator.
Dieter's practice focuses on complex corporate and commercial disputes in a variety of sectors and industries. He has broad experience representing clients in disputes relating to M&A and other transactions, energy, trade, projects and construction, product liability, cartel damages, insurance recovery, and insolvencies. He also frequently represents clients in corporate litigation and compliance-related disputes. Dieter practiced several years in Moscow and has broad experience advising and representing clients in disputes relating to Russia and Central and Eastern Europe.
Dieter is a frequent speaker on litigation and arbitration-related topics and is the author of several dispute-related publications. He is a member of several legal organizations, including DIS, the Law Society in London, and the IBA (International Bar Association).
