Christine Davies has extensive experience representing high-net-worth individuals in times of private and personal distress in civil and criminal capacities. Both her manner and case management skills give clients comfort and puts them at ease during extremely difficult times.
In all divisions of the High Court, including the Family Division, Christine's experience encompasses injunctive and committal proceedings, multijurisdictional dimensions, and enforcement issues. She advises applicants, respondents, children, and interveners on confidential matters principally concerning high-value complex matrimonial proceedings with onshore and offshore trust dispute issues.
In the criminal courts, Christine successfully represented the Whitehall editor of the Sun in her acquittal at the Old Bailey following charges of conspiracy to commit misconduct in public office. Christine also successfully represented a former driver at News International in charges of perverting the course of justice. She has advised on investigations conducted by prosecuting bodies such as the SFO (Serious Fraud Office), CPS (Crown Prosecution Service), the Home Office, and the HSE (Health and Safety Executive). Christine also advises corporates on dawn raid procedures and is currently representing a large corporate in relation to an ongoing criminal investigation.
