Chris Domingo is a trial lawyer with first-chair trial experience in state and federal courts. He concentrates his practice on complex commercial and business litigation, with a particular focus on representing clients in the energy industry. He has substantial experience with trial, motion, and discovery practice and routinely represents plaintiffs and defendants in Texas, throughout the United States, and abroad.
Chris's cases include complex contract disputes, class actions, construction matters, environmental litigation, and health care disputes involving antitrust and unfair competition claims. He has worked with clients such as Bechtel, BNSF, Boeing, Chevron, CITGO, Experian, Marathon Petroleum, and Total. Chris has taken and defended dozens of depositions and has worked with an array of experts preparing cases for trial, including economists, engineers, and health care consultants.
Chris is an Eagle Scout with an active pro bono practice and a deep commitment to the Houston community. Among his pro bono commitments, Chris has served as a volunteer prosecutor for the City of Houston and has assisted women and children before the immigration and family courts. He also has represented clients in civil rights actions, litigating one matter through trial and obtaining a substantial jury verdict. Chris is a past president of the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He is an active member of the Houston Bar Association and serves on the Advisory Council for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). Chris is the hiring partner for the Houston Office.
