Darianne De Leon's practice is focused on tax litigation and tax controversy. Prior to joining Jones Day she completed a two-year clerkship with the United States Tax Court, where she assisted with writing opinions and substantive orders.

Darianne is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association. She also serves as vice chair of the American Bar Association Women in Tax Forum. While in law school, Darianne represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court as a student attorney with the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, where she helped clients with tax controversy and collection matters. Before pursuing her legal career, she worked as a judicial intern and in professional development.

Darianne immigrated from Trinidad and Tobago, and she is a first generation professional.
