Didier De Vliegher focuses his practice on lease contracts, sale and leaseback agreements, and real estate transactions (acquisitions, financings, and real estate funds) for Belgian and international clients. He also has in-depth experience in asset and project financings, including public-private partnerships (PPPs).
Didier regularly helps clients structure complex transactions and advises on the ensuing financing, regulatory, and compliance issues. He has worked with listed companies, insurance companies, and banks. Didier is included in the "Hall of Fame" for real estate and construction by The Legal 500, an honor that recognizes those who are at the pinnacle of their profession.
Didier serves on the Disciplinary Council of the Brussels Bar Association and is past president of the International Project Finance Association (IPFA) Council for Belgium. He is a former member of the Council of the Brussels Bar Association and of the International Bar Association.
