Ian Flink represents clients in complex commercial litigation and internal investigations. Ian's experience includes class actions, mass tort chapter 11 proceedings, and government investigations. He has experience in various facets of litigation, including all aspects of discovery and motion practice.
Before joining Jones Day, Ian served as a law clerk for Judge Iain D. Johnston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Ian maintains an active pro bono practice. He has experience representing clients in immigration-related relief, including asylum and child custody matters.
Before law school, Ian worked as an e-discovery associate at a Big Four accounting firm. During this time, he assisted law firms and corporations with e-discovery support and provided forensic technology support to collect, preserve, and produce electronically stored information (ESI).
