Paolo Foppiani has an extensive track record advising Italian and international institutional investors in domestic and cross-border real estate transactions involving stand-alone deals as well as portfolio holdings. He has significant experience in the purchase, sale, letting, and development of real estate assets; going concerns; and transactions involving the contribution of assets into real estate funds and in the formation of real estate joint ventures.
Paolo's practice covers all areas of the real estate market, including retail, commercial, industrial, logistics, hospitality, and leisure. He has helmed several transactions relating to alternative asset class properties, particularly in the student housing, senior housing, and health care sectors.
Paolo regularly represents clients such as Invesco, Primonial REIM, Savills Investment Management, BNP Paribas, Angelo Gordon, Social Hub Group, Stellantis, and Euryale Asset Management, among others.
Paolo is founder and chairman of the non-governmental organization Nòos. He is also involved in organizing fundraisers that support Amref (medical projects in Africa) and School for Children (education projects in India). He is a former chair of the ULI (Urban Land Institute) Young Leaders Group in Italy.
