Parker Feldman's practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters in federal and state courts. He has helped clients navigate a range of litigation matters, including cases involving business torts, commercial disputes, products liability claims, pharmaceuticals, civil RICO, contractual obligations, and claims arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). His substantive litigation experience includes drafting pleadings and motions, conducting factual and legal research, and managing all aspects of discovery. He is also well-versed in regulatory matters involving the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the National Futures Association (NFA), and in particular, he has advised clients on regulatory compliance, conducted internal investigations, and drafted contractual and compliance documentation.
Parker is also active in the blockchain/digital assets space with a focus on changing regulatory conditions and risks associated with emerging technologies. For example, he has engaged in market and regulatory research to document a state-by-state analysis of the treatment and regulation of cryptocurrencies.
In addition, Parker maintains an active pro bono practice. Through Jones Day's Border Project, Parker has aided in the representation of immigrants seeking asylum in the United States, and he was part of a team that secured asylum for a Venezuelan refugee fleeing political persecution. His pro bono practice also includes work with the Joseph Project, where he has successfully attained expungement of the criminal record of a survivor of human trafficking.
