Ashley Gullett has served as the lead lawyer on numerous complex business transactions involving private and public companies and private equity funds. She also acts as the primary legal advisor for a variety of privately held companies and regularly negotiates significant commercial arrangements for clients.

Ashley's transaction experience includes a wide assortment of deal structures, including leveraged buyouts, divestitures, mergers, carve-outs, cross-border transactions, minority investments, and distressed transactions inside and outside of bankruptcy proceedings. She advises clients from a variety of industries, including health care, technology, financial services, and industrials.

Ashley's recent engagements include advising Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC, an affiliate of Koch Industries, in the $3.6 billion acquisition of Iowa Fertilizer Company; VSE Corporation in the acquisition of Desser Aerospace for $124 million and the concurrent spin-off of Desser's proprietary solutions business to Loar Group for $30 million; The Riverside Company in its acquisition of Kaseware, a leading provider of investigation management software sold to public safety agencies and corporations; and Roper Technologies in the acquisition by subsidiary Deltek of the business of Replicon

Ashley was named among the Top Women in Dealmaking for 2023 by The Deal and teaches an M&A course to second- and third-year law students at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She serves as a member of the board of directors of VOICEcorps, a nonprofit organization that provides services to the visually impaired. Ashley is the New Lawyers Group coordinator in the Columbus Office.
