Matt Gobel advises public and private companies, private equity firms, and family offices on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, de-SPAC (special-purpose acquisition companies) transactions, divestitures, minority equity investments, corporate restructurings, and corporate governance.

Representing clients in a wide range of industries, including software, aerospace, construction, real estate investment, renewable energy, e-commerce, consumer goods, entertainment, chemical manufacturing, and health care, Matt's recent experience includes transactions for Koch Industries, VSE Corporation, Avient Corporation, Milliken & Company, and Newell Brands.

Matt is actively involved in the Firm's pro bono activities in Laredo, Texas, which provides legal services to immigrants seeking asylum in the United States.
