Prashant Kelshiker is a commercial litigator with extensive experience in complex disputes involving equity, trusts, and company law. Prashant has experience advising and acting in a broad range of contentious matters, including disputes in federal and state superior courts and the High Court of Australia.
Prashant's recent experience includes acting in a multifaceted family dispute involving complex corporate governance and trusts issues, a planning and commercial dispute with insolvency aspects, a contentious corporate governance dispute with cross-border elements, a prospective class action, and a construction dispute.
Prior to private practice, Prashant worked at the Australian Government Solicitor in Canberra, where he advised and acted in constitutional litigation involving the Commonwealth and in Commonwealth interests in disputes around Australia. He also advised on complex issues of constitutional law, administrative law and statutory interpretation, public international law, and legislative development as well as on a number of measures implemented to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
