Eunice S.Lim

Eunice Lim's practice focuses on complex construction and engineering disputes, particularly within the oil and gas, mining, energy, and resources sectors.

Eunice has experience acting in domestic and international arbitration (Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia [IAMA], International Chamber of Commerce [ICC], and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law [UNCITRAL] rules), adjudication, mediation, and litigation, as well as advising on managing and resolving claims involving defective work, extensions of time, variations, liquidated damages, and security of payment. She has acted for project principals, contractors, and other companies on large construction and infrastructure projects involving natural gas pipelines, iron ore, gas processing facilities, water treatment plants, rail, and commercial buildings. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2017, Eunice worked in a top-tier construction litigation practice at a major Australian firm, where she acted for a natural gas project owner in an international arbitration under the ICC rules, with claims in excess of $1 billion. Her recent experience also includes advising a global engineering design consultant in relation to the design of a multibillion dollar oil and gas pipeline system in Queensland.

Eunice is a co-convenor of the Society of Construction Law (SocLA) Young Constructor's Committee in Queensland and a member of the National Women in Construction Law (NAWIC).
