Hannah Ohara represents clients in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts and in criminal and internal investigations. Her experience spans a range of practice areas, including trade secret misappropriation, false claims, health care, commercial disputes, consumer fraud, unfair competition, and conspiracy. She has experience in various stages of litigation, including factual investigation, fact and expert discovery, depositions, dispositive motion practice, trial preparation, and mediation.
Hannah also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing refugees seeking asylum through Jones Day's Border Project and assisting individuals facing domestic violence with applications for temporary restraining orders. Hannah serves on the board of the Federal Bar Association's San Diego Chapter as the vice president of Civil Legal Education. She is also an active member of the J. Clifford Wallace Inn of Court and the Women's White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA) San Diego Chapter.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2022, Hannah served as a law clerk to Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
