Charlie Peacock practices corporate law with a focus on M&A, equity capital markets, and private equity and venture capital transactions. She advises public and private companies on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary fund raisings, reorganizations, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures.
Charlie has experience working with clients in the energy, renewables, infrastructure, private equity, real estate, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors.
Recent significant experience includes advising: Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) on a range of transactions, including its acquisition of 50% of Enel Green Power Hellas from Enel Green Power S.p.A., its investment in Island Green Power, its €2.4 billion acquisition of Suez UK, the acquisition of interests in Viesgo, sale of Viesgo Renovables to EDP Renováveis, and formation of the Viesgo/E-Redes joint venture with EDP; ENI on its acquisition of Chevron's interests in the Indonesia Deepwater Development project; The Timken Company on its acquisition of Nadella Group from ICG, Goldman Sachs, and Wellcome Trust on the £4.66 billion disposal of iQ Student Accommodation to Blackstone; DataBank on its acquisition and financing of zColo, including certain U.S. and European data center assets, from Zayo Group Holdings; Sumitomo Heavy Industries on its $46 million investment in Highview Power, a global leader in long-duration energy storage solutions, and separately in its acquisition of Invertek Drives; and Loungers plc on its IPO.
Charlie is currently spending a year in the Firm's New York Office. She also spent a year on secondment at MAM, where she supported MAM's European real assets legal team.
