Robert Silman represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of complex civil litigation matters and counsels companies facing internal investigations.
Robert's recent experience includes representing clients in a wide range of civil lawsuits, including proceedings involving contractual disputes, piercing the corporate veil, products liability, negligence, fraud, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), and Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Robert's diverse experience has included fact development and investigation, discovery management, and briefing and motions practice.
In addition, Robert works on matters involving peace officer misconduct and reform, including work on behalf of the Chicago Police Board. Robert's experience also includes representing criminal defendants through the Firm's participation in the Criminal Justice Act federal defender program.
