Jones Day represented AirTouch Cellular d/b/a Verizon Wireless in a putative class action alleging that it violates California's labor laws by taking chargebacks from the commissions paid to its retail sales employees. The court granted the Defendant's motion for summary judgment as to the claims of the named plaintiff and awarded Defendant approximately $100K in attorneys' fees.
