Client(s) First Kuwaiti Trading & Contracting W.L.L.

Jones Day represented First Kuwaiti Trading & Contracting W.L.L. against the U.S. Government in litigation involving claims brought by the U.S. Department of State in connection with First Kuwaiti's construction of the U.S. New Embassy Compound in Baghdad. The Government ultimately dropped all of its claims, totaling in excess of $20 million, against First Kuwaiti related to the project.
