Memorial Sloan-Kettering wins dismissal of age discrimination claims
Client(s) Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Jones Day obtained dismissal of a former employee's discrimination claims on behalf of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The former employee claimed that Memorial Sloan-Kettering discriminated against her on the basis of her age in violation of the New York Human Rights Law. After a multi-day trial before an Administrative Law Judge, the New York State Division of Human Rights found that the employee was terminated for legitimate business reasons and dismissed all of the former employee's claims.
