Koch Equity Development partners with BDT Capital Partners and Penske to acquire Truck-Lite

Client(s) Koch Industries, Inc.

Jones Day advised Koch Equity Development LLC (KED), the investment and acquisition subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc., in connection with the acquisition of Truck-Lite Co., LLC, alongside BDT Capital Partners, LLC (BDT), through its investment funds. KED and BDT partnered with Penske Corporation in connection with the transaction. Truck-Lite is a leading provider of safety lighting and filtration systems for commercial vehicles as well as LED lighting to the off-road industry, and is currently owned by Penske and funds affiliated with Kelso & Company.
