Qualcomm resolves worldwide Chinese litigation

Jones Day represented Qualcomm Incorporated as complainant in an ITC action against a Chinese phone manufacturer and several distributors asserting five patents concerning radio frequency transceivers, device structures, packaging, structures, and camera phone operation. The case was instituted as a part of a multi-venue dispute, which included litigation of 17 cases in the Beijing and Shanghai Intellectual Property Courts in China. The case terminated following settlement.
