Jasmine Akre focuses on motions practice and appellate advocacy. She has represented clients in jurisdictions around the country and has extensive experience preparing briefs and motions in state and federal courts.
Before joining Jones Day in 2024, Jasmine served as a law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court of the United States and to Judge Amul R. Thapar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She also practiced for several years at an international law firm in Washington, D.C.
