Dominic Brown advises PE (private equity) funds and public and private companies in complex, cross-border transactions. He acts on a variety of private equity and M&A mandates (including acquisitions, disposals, investments, and joint ventures) and provides advice on general company and commercial matters. Dominic has experience across industrials, infrastructure, renewable energy, indirect real estate, technology, and aerospace and defense.
Dominic's recent experience includes advising MPE Partners on its £186.7m take private of London-listed Renold plc and Safe Harbor Marinas on its acquisition of Monaco Marine, a network of nine yacht refit and repair marinas in the south of France.
Dominic was also a member of the teams that advised Goldman Sachs and Wellcome Trust on their £4.66 billion disposal of IQ Student Accommodation to Blackstone; Hansteen Holdings in its £500 million recommended takeover by Blackstone; Lazard Asset Management on its investment in and subsequent exit from Shawton Energy, a rooftop solar business; and Bally's Corporation in its $2.7 billion takeover of Gamesys Group PLC, an online gaming company.
