Kevin Riddles is a trial lawyer who defends clients in complex product liability, mass tort, regulatory, and consumer class action litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. His practice has also focused on navigating and responding to state attorney general investigations. In addition, Kevin regularly counsels clients on regulatory and litigation risk mitigation strategies to achieve key business objectives. Kevin has represented clients across multiple industries, including tobacco, consumer products, chemicals, and financial services.
Kevin has served as trial counsel in more than a dozen cases, with additional experience as part of more than 30 trial teams during his career. These matters have included high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages in difficult jurisdictions. Kevin has conducted numerous direct and cross-examinations at trial and brings his experience to all phases of litigation, helping clients achieve successful outcomes through dispositive motions practice and creative discovery strategies. Kevin has taken and defended well over 100 fact and expert depositions, and he has worked extensively with experts across many fields, including a broad range of medical disciplines, toxicology, epidemiology, economics, federal regulation, marketing and advertising, and internal business records and conduct. He also has been involved with challenges to rules promulgated by the Food & Drug Administration and other regulatory actions. He has experience with Congressional investigations and preparation for Congressional hearings as well. Kevin's representations have included R.J. Reynolds, Isomedix, Procter & Gamble, and H&R Block.
