Sam Reilly's practice covers a range of civil, criminal, and regulatory litigation matters, both at trial and on appeal. His experience includes drafting appellate briefs in state and federal courts, conducting internal investigations, and counseling clients on federal and state regulations.

Sam has represented clients at all three levels of the federal judiciary, including the United States Supreme Court. He has played a primary role in drafting numerous appellate briefs, including cert-stage and merits-stage briefings at the Supreme Court.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2022, Sam clerked for Judge Frank M. Hull at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Before law school, Sam taught high school U.S. history in Nashville, Tennessee. Sam maintains an active pro bono practice that includes assisting with the Firm's Border Project.
