Randi Lesnick, co-leader of the Firm's global Corporate Practice, appeared on The Deal's "Drinks With The Deal" podcast. Ms. Lesnick discusses the value of relationships in dealmaking, her various leadership roles, anticipating shareholder activism's spread in Europe, and the importance of knowing the playbook. She also describes the challenges of regulatory dynamics and the emergence of artificial intelligence.
"I really like the people component of it," Ms. Lesnick told The Deal's David Marcus. "There’s a lot of interaction with a variety of people who bring different perspectives to what they care about in a transaction and why they care about it." Ms. Lesnick added, "One of the greatest things, to me, about being an M&A lawyer, is the people you get to know over time and the way you feel vested."
