Chevron prevails in overturning adverse jury verdict in maritime suit

Jones Day successfully appealed an adverse jury verdict against Chevron Corporation in a maritime suit. Jones Day argued that the trial court had erroneously excluded important evidence of the plaintiffs' misconduct and, on the basis of these arguments, the Ninth Circuit overturned the verdict and remanded for a new trial.
